Reaction: This film was almost saved the foreign box office and some very big home video sales, but in the end it all came up just a bit short. We at the studio believe the lack of big name actors, as well as the less than recognizable historical setting, hurt this film's chances at the box office.

"This Assassin's Creed tale is clever story that features a less than obvious setting and some interesting characters with intriguing moral compasses. The action is quick and brutal, and more importantly, entertaining." - Rick Green, New Yorker

"Despite some strong elements, the film struggles in the acting department. There are some solid character actors in supporting roles, but stuntman Yoshi Sudarso clearly isn't cut out for a role this size at this point in his career." - James Tubbs Jr., Vice Magazine

"Assassin's Creed: The New Order has its share of interesting scenes, but it doesn't always seem to know how to tie them all together into a coherent whole. The result is a jumbled film with some very strong action scenes, but a lack of character development." - Brenton Smalls, Playboyr

Rated R for graphic violence and thematic elements
