Doctor Love: John David Washington (Missing Men, "Gauntlet"), Jason Schwartzman (Wine Country, The Polka King), Greg Kinnear (Libra, "House of Cards") and Hafbor Jullius Bjornsen (Mortal Kombat, "Game of Thrones") will round out the cast of the wrestling film Doctor Love. Washington will play a drug dealing wrestler, Kinnear will play a major wrestling promoter, Schwartzman will play a weasly wrestling manager, while Bjornsen will play a foreign wrestler. Steven Soderbergh directs from an original script by Mo Buck and Chad Taylor.
The Reign of Lady Morgana: The upcoming Sam Raimi-directed horror film has added Ella Purnell (Resident Evil, "Sweetbitter"), Peter Dinklage (Bravo/Samurai, Lucky Luke and Billy the Kid) and Michael Madsen (The Squared Circle, Atlantic City). Andrew Doster penned the screenplay.
Kindred: The upcoming film from director Ava DuVernay and writer Jimmy Ellis has added Trevor Jackson (Standing Back, "Gauntlet", Nicole Beharie (XIII, "Sleepy Hollow"), Zoe Kravitz (Trip, "Leaving Everything") and Aml Ameen (Yardie, The Maze Runner) to its ensemble cast in supporting roles.
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic: Timothy Olyphant (Halo 3, Sisters), Maisie Williams (Blue Heat, "Game of Thrones"), Vincent Cassel (Blackbird, Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory) and Daniel Cudmore ("Brimstone", X-Men: Days of Future Past) have signed on to the upcoming Star Wars film from director Michelle MacLaren and writer Roy Horne. Olyphant will play a Republic soldier, Williams will play an alien thief, Cassel will play a mercenary and Cudmore will play a Wookiee.
Scion 3: Saoirse Ronan (One for the Ages, Hippies in New York), Harris Dickinson (Trip, Scion 2) and Jovan Adepo (Scion 2, Overlord) have all signed on to return for the highly anticipated finale of the Scion trilogy. Jeff Nichols (Animus, Scion 2) is returning to direct with a script once again written by John Malone (Scion 2, Nevada, Iowa) and Chad Taylor (Orchid, Buried Child).
The Mutation: As soon as he's done working on Doctor Love, Billy Magnussen (Justice League International, Missing Men) will star in The Mutation, an upcoming fantasy horror film from writer Ben Collins (Stray Dogs, Black Dublin) and director Guillermo del Toro (Nexus, The Banded Ants 3 - Showdown). He will play a young man who visits a troubling New England fishing village. He will also be joined in the film by Ana de Armas (Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, Girl/Girl) who plays the daughter of the mayor who falls in love with Magnussen's character.
