Hardy next tackled the lead role in the adaptation of the classic British television series, The Prisoner. The film was a huge hit and was beloved by audiences and critics alike. Audiences were excited about the prospects of a sequel, but this has yet to happen due to Jack Ryder's seeming retirement from writing.

Hardy's box office dominance finally came to an end with the wrestling drama The Squared Circle. The film was a hit with critics, but just didn't find a big enough audience at the box office to make a profit. Tom Hardy wasn't done with blockbusters for Season 9 yet, and reprised his role of Garrus in this Mass Effect spin-off. Like the rest of the franchise, it was a huge hit at the box office.

Hardy then reprised his role of Garrus in the first part of the massive two-part conclusion to the Mass Effect franchise. The film won the GRA for Most Wanted Sequel, while it was also nominated for Best Ensemble Cast.


Up Next: Hardy will next reprise his role as Kratos in the new God of War film, God of War: Kratos, which is set to serve as a soft-reboot to the previous film. Later this season will also see Hardy return as Garrus in the epic finale of the Mass Effect franchise, Mass Effect 3 - Part 2. After this season, Hardy is set to return for a future Kingmaker Chronicles sequel.
