Breaking News

Following the hiring of Jeff Nichols (Scion 3, Animus) as director of the upcoming Superman film from writer John Malone (Torso, Scion 3), the film has not only become a highly anticipated film, but the casting for the lead role of Superman has arguably become the most anticipated casting announcement in the history of LRF. It was previously announced that the shortlist for the role was down to Tom Bateman (Cold Pursuit, Murder on the Orient Express), Diego Boneta (The Titan, "Scream Queens"), David Giuntoli ("Grimm", "A Million Little Things"), Ryan Guzman (Standing Back, Happy Nuke Year), Colin O'Donoghue ("Once Upon a Time", Carrie Pilby), Jonathan Tucker (Red Farm, "Kingdom"), Aidan Turner ("Poldark", The Man Who Killed Hitler and Then the Bigfoot) and Benjamin Walker (American Psycho the Musical, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter). After a series of auditions and screen tests, the filmmakers and studio have made the decision to cast Aidan Turner in the high-profile role of Clark Kent aka Superman. Not only that, but the studio has also decided to release a picture of Turner in costume from the screen test (courtesy of writer of John Malone).
