The Roundup with Jeff Stockton (Season 13 Round 6)

Another round is in the books with just three rounds remaining this season, so here's The Roundup....

3. H.G. Hansen
I didn't particularly like Unknown all that much. It had some cool moments, but they weren't enough to make the entire story work for me. That said, it's always nice when a writer returns from a season or two away.

2. God of War: Kratos

This God of War gave us the origin and entry into the story and world that the first film was sorely lacking. I wouldn't call it a great film, but it was more enjoyable and accessible film.

1. Tom Hardy
Hardy once again shows why he is one of the biggest stars in LRF with her performance in God of War: Kratos. Unlike the first film, this time around Hardy is given much more emotional work to handle.

3. Box Office
It was tough sledding at the box office for any film not starring Tom Hardy this round.

2. Unknown
Like I said above, there were definitely some cool moments in Unknown, but it just didn't add up to enough of a pay off for me as a viewer.

1. The William Hung Story
This was simply a film that shouldn't have been made. While it wasn't quite as bad as I was expecting after Conn essentially disowned the film (before returning to take credit for it), it was just wholly unnecessary. Nobody wanted or needed a film about William Hung.
