Girl in the Fog: Amanda Peet ("Brockmire", Sleeping with Other People) and Maggie Grace (Without Remorse, "Fear the Walking Dead") have signed on to round out the cast of the mystery Girl in the Fog. Maggie Grace will play the wife of Oscar Isaac, while Peet will the commander of the local police force. Gavin O'Connor directs from a script by Jack Slipter.
Someone Else: Olivia Wilde (V, The Devil in the White City), Allison Tolman (Teslin, Yukon, Hunter), Rebecca Hall ("Leaving Everything", Mass Effect 3 - Part 1) and Damian Lewis (The Crucible, Swamp Thing) have joined the ever expanding cast of Someone Else from director Tom Ford and writer Mo Buck. Wilde will play a woman Michael Stuhlbarg meets ar a bar, Tolman will play Adrien Brody's wife, Hall will play an employee of his, while Lewis will play a doctor in the film.
Genetic Descent: The new film from director Nia DaCosta and writer Jimmy Ellis has added three more to its cast: Sopie Turner (Halo 5, The Reign of Lady Morgana), Octavia Spencer (Kindred, Ghost Town) and Jeremy Ray Taylor (It Chapter 2, Peter and the Starcatchers). Turner and Taylor will play two of Charlize Theron and Ethan Hawke's children, while Spencer will play Theron's friend.
Mass Effect 3 - Part 2: Even more familiar faces have officially been announced to return for the epic finale of the Mass Effect franchise. Mickey Rourke (Teslin, Yukon, Mass Effect: The Shadow Broker), Lupita Nyong'o (Kindred, Mass Effect 3 - Part 1), Cate Blanchett (The Queen of the Night, Made in Abyss) and William Fichtner (Teslin, Yukon, Mass Effect 3 - Part 1) will all return as Zaeed Massani, Tali'Zorah, Kahlee Sanders, and Javik from prior films in the franchise, respectively. Rian Johnson is directing once again from a script by Seth Overton.
Elysian: Cameron Monaghan (How to Survive in Hell, To the White Sea) and Jeffrey Wright (Birth of Frankenstein, Sweet Tooth) have signed on for supporting roles in the time travel film Elysian from director Jeremy Saulnier and writers John Malone and Jimmy Ellis. Monaghan will play a cult member, while Wright will play a professor who thinks the film's hero is wasting his time pursuing time travel.
A Following: Armie Hammer (Justice League International, The Squared Circle), Madison Iseman (Suzanne, Somewhere, Somehow) and Kirsten Dunst (Black Dublin, Scion) have signed on to star in a new film from director Cory Finley (Thoroughbreds, Bad Education) and writers Mo Buck (Halo 5, Under Pressure) and Chad Taylor (The Powerpuff Girls, Blind Faith. The writing duo previous penned Calamity and Doctor Love together with the two films each winning three Golden Reel Awards. Their latest film tells the story of a high school girl's (Madison Iseman) online relationship with an NFL quarterback (Armie Hammer). Dunst will play a private detective who specializes in cyber crimes in the film.
