Reaction: While Zombielove is not a major hit, it turned a nice little profit with a genre (romantic comedy) that the studio does not have a lot of experience producing or marketing, so we'll chalk it up as a success.

"If Zombielove is anything, it is an efficient film. It doesn't break out of the romantic comedy or zombie-horror genre confines, but it does play nicely within both of those genres thanks to Marc Webb's direction and a game young cast." - Eric Marsh, Denver Post

"Zombielove is not the worst film this season so far, but it is not very original. It safely plays in the same battlefield as films like Zombieland and Shaun of the Dead, greatly paling in comparison." - Richard Park, Globe and Mail

"Zombielove should have some success as a date movie, with just enough rom-com elements to get women in the door and enough zombie violence to keep the men from walking out of the movie. However, it doesn't quite nail either genre, with it not being especially funny or scary. It tries to cater to a very large audience, so at the very least people probably won't be bothered too much by the film." - Jeremy Raren, RottenTomatoes.com

Rated R for horror violence/gore, language and some sexual content
