The Roundup with Jeff Stockton (Season 14 Round 5)

We are now officially at the half-way point of Season 14. Here's The Roundup....

3. Zombielove
I wasn't a huge fan of the film, but I do appreciate that it wasn't a typical film for LRF to produce (what with it being just the third romantic comedy film).

2. Walker

It took a while to get into the film, but by the end of Walker I just wanted to watch it again - and I did. There's a lot of strong plotting in the film which is backed up by the talent of its cast.

1. Kyle Chandler
He takes the top of the list because he finally received his first full-blown lead role from the studio, after 10 supporting roles. While the box office results weren't very good, Chandler showed that he has the talent to headline a film.

3. Ewan McGregor
There just wasn't enough for him to do in Walker. I'm actually surprised he even accepted such a thankless role. He must have been paid handsomely.

2. The Refugee
I found myself confused and bewildered throughout the runtime of The Refugee. Was the film on Earth or some other planet? Was the film set in the past, present or future? So many questions, not a lot of answers.

1. Liam Hemsworth
This has to be final nail in the coffin of Liam Hemsworth as a leading man, right? He's just not up to the task. In certain projects he acts well, but he's really just too bland and is lacking in star qualities.
