In Development

The Case Against 8: Cynthia Nixon ("Sex and the City", The Only Living Boy in New York), Christine Lahti (A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood, "Evil"), Chris Colfer ("Glee", Struck by Lightning) and John Early (Late Night, "Search Party") will round out the cast of the true-story drama, The Case Against 8. Based on the documentary of the same name, the film tells the story of the legal battle to fight against Proposition 8 in California that would have banned gay marriage. Alex Conn penned the adaptation which will star and be directed by James Franco.

Y: The Last Man - Part 2:
The sequel to Y: The Last Man will see even more returning castmembers from the first film with Gal Gadot (Y: The Last Man, Happy Nuke Year), Samara Weaving (Namor the Sub-Mariner, The Brilliant Friend), Svetlana Khodchenkova (Y: The Last Man, Hero) and Lauren Ambrose (Jersey Devil, Y: The Last Man) all set to return for the sequel. Gadot will once again play Israeli commando Alter Tse-elon, Weaving is back as Yorick Brown's girlfriend who was out of the country when the virus killed all the males, Khodchenkova will be back as a mysterious Russian woman, and Ambrose will reprise her role as an astronaut returning to Earth with her male co-pilots. Ana Lily Amirpour is once again directing the film from a script by Matt Parker.

Death of the Artist: Dakota Fanning (Sisters, An Ember in the Ashes) and Tobias Menzies ("The Crown", Underworld: Blood Wars) have joined Casey Affleck and Thomasin McKenzie in the dystopian drama, Death of the Artist. Fanning plays a young woman who knows how to play music in a future where artistic expression has been banned. Menzies meanwhile will play a doctor treating McKenzie's character. Kenneth Lonergan is directing the film from an original script by Jimmy Ellis.

Sinatra: A few of Frank Sinatra's many love interests have been cast to appear opposite Leonardo DiCaprio's Sinatra in director Martin Scorsese's new film. Emmy Rossum (Parasite, Booster Gold: Lost in Time) will play Sinatra's first wife, Nancy Barbato. Gemma Arterton (AGOS: A Game of Survival, Silver Surfer: The Power Cosmic) will play movie star Ava Gardner, and Eliza Scanlen (To The Max, Babyteeth) will play Mia Farrow. Also joining the project are Tony Danza (Don Jon, "The Good Cop") and Lorraine Bracco ("The Sopranos", The Birthday Cake) as Frank Sinatra's parents. Lon Charles has penned the film's script.

Justice League Unlimited: The famed superhero team will see Armie Hammer (Green Arrow: SuperMax, A Following), Mahershala Ali (The Nickel Boys, The Devil's Revenge), Taylor Kitsch (The Curse of Janara, Hawkworld) and Jessica Biel (Hawkworld, Justice League International) all returning from the first Justice League film from Season 10, reprising their roles as Green Arrow, Martian Manhunter, Hawkman and Hawkgirl. Michael Bay (AGOS: A Game of Survival, Cocaine Cowboys) is back to direct this entry as well, once again working from a script by APJ (Plastic Man 2: Electric Boogaloo, Urban Cowboy), D.R. Cobb (Spider-Man, Constantine: The Hellblazer) and Chad Taylor (Observance, Tokyo Rose).

Resident Evil 4: The first film of Season 21 will be the latest installment of the Resident Evil film franchise from director James Wan (Resident Evil 3, Dragon Ball: The Wrath of the Demon King) and writer Carl Flimmer (Aliens vs. Preadtor: The Long War, Resident Evil 3). Scott Eastwood (Resident Evil 2, The Job), Talitha Bateman (Sleeping Beauties, Robert the Bruce) Diego Boneta (Less, Die in a Gunfight) and Mark Strong (Halo 6, Crimson) will star in the entry. Eastwood is reprising his role as rookie Raccoon City police officer Leon Kennedy from Resident Evil 2. Bateman will play the daughter of the US President who is kidnapped and taken to a Spanish village. Boneta will play a Spanish police officer, while Strong will play the film's villain who is trying to weaponize mind-controlling parasites.
