In Development

 

Love, Death, Revolution: Emory Cohen (The Liberation of Evil, Rocket Red), Madeleine Arthur (Color Out of Space, "Devil in Ohio"), and Kylie Rogers (Beau Is Afraid, "Home Before Dark") have rounded out the not-so-French ensemble cast of the French Revolution-set film from director Garth Davis and writer Ben Collins.

Phantasm: Awakening: The JJ Abrams-produced Phantasm reboot has completed its casting with the additions of Meg Foster (The Dark Tower IV: Wizard and Glass, Titans: Evil Incarnate), Elizabeth Lail (Footage from the Past, Eye of the Scarecrow), and Dean Norris (Amityville, Knight Rider). David Robert Mitchell directs from a script by Roy Horne and John Malone.

Captain America: Winter's End: Some Marvel Universe casting news as Tom Selleck (McCain, Black Widow x Hawkeye), Danny Glover (The Dead Don't Die, Proud Mary), and Noah Taylor (Crowley, Captain America) have all officially signed on to appear in the Glen Powell-led Captain America sequel, Captain America: Winter's End. Selleck and Taylor will be reprising their previous roles as SHIELD director Tony Stark and HYDRA scientist Arnim Zola, respectively. Meanwhile, Danny Glover has signed on to play James Rhodes, who Andre Holland played a younger version of in The Invincible Iron Man. Peter Berg is back to direct from a script by D.R. Cobb.

Mr. Happy: Rob Riggle (12 Strong, The War with Grandpa) and Nonso Anozie (Batman Beyond, Floyd Monroe) will be the final cast additions for Mr. Happy, the dramatic thriller starring Jesse Plemons. Hiro Murai is directing the short film adaptation which was penned by Wyatt Allen.

Escape: Montana Jordan (Red Queen, "Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage"), Violet McGraw (Gamera, The Crow: Midnight Garden), Gabriella Sengos (The Champ, Willamette), and Mia Kirshner (Superman: Exile, Crisis) have joined the biographical thriller Escape from director David Fincher and writer Lon Charles. Jordan, McGraw, and Sengos will all play the children of Reese Witherspoon's character who escape from a FLDS compound with their mother. Kirshner meanwhile will play a lawyer who helps the family. 

Sins of the Father: Jack Reynor (Zero Hour, Fantastic Four and the Silver Surfer) and Mel Gibson (The Punisher: Last Exit, the Killings) will headline a new western film, Sins of the Father, from writer Jimmy Ellis. Reynor will play a young man who finds himself hunted by a violent gang led by Gibson's character. Yann Demange has signed on to direct the film.
