In Development


Share: Rounding out the cast of Share will be Jada Pinkett Smith ("Gotham", Bad Moms) and Samuel L. Jackson. Pinkett Smith will play Charlie Cox's wife, while Jackson will play a scientist working with the main characters.

Akira: Oakes Fegley (Pete's Dragon) Red Ranger Dacre Montgomery (Power Rangers, "Stranger Things") have joined the cast of the James McTeigue-directed Akira. Fegley will play a psychic child, while Montgomery will play a member of Kaneda's (Dylan O'Brien) motorcycle gang.

Solution: Director Ralph Fiennes has added to the cast of his World War II drama Solution. Michael Sheen ("Masters of Sex", Midnight in Paris)has joined the cast as Wilhelm Stuckart, a lawyer representing the Interior Ministry and co-author of the anti-semitic Nuremberg Laws. Sean Harris has also joined the project. He will portray Gerhard Klopfer (Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation, Prometheus), a lawyer from the Nazi Party Chancellery.

The Fountainhead: Zack Snyder has cast some of the leading roles in his long-awaited adaptation of Ayn Rand's The Fountainhead. Ryan Gosling (Blade Runner 2049, La La Land) has been cast as idealistic architect Howard Roark, while Zachary Quinto (Star Trek Beyond, Snowden) has been cast as his rival, Peter Keating.

Flicker: Joining the already cast Alden Ehrenreich in the Anton Corbijn-directed, John Malone-written adaptation of Theodore Roszak's novel will be Kirsten Dunst (Melancholia, The Beguiled) and Brady Corbet (Escobar: Paradise Lost, Simon Killer). Dunst will play Ehrenreich's love interest, a film critic. Corbet will play Ehrenreich's best friend.

Without Remorse: Last Resort Films has hired Peter Berg (Lone Survivor, Deepwater Horizon) to direct an adaptation of the Tom Clancy novel, Without Remorse. Tom Hardy (The Dark Knight Rises, Mad Max: Fury Road) has been cast in the lead role of John Clark, who not only goes up against a Baltimore drug ring, but also has to spearhead an operation to free POWs in Afghanistan.
