Blackwater: Rainn Wilson (Shimmer Lake, "Star Trek: Discovery") has joined Leonardo Dicaprio's latest film Blackwater. He will play the town's sole forensic expert - the local veterinarian. John Hillcoat directs the Dwight Gallo-penned film.
Lucky Luke and the Daltons: Harry Wright and Taika Waititi's comedic western has cast two of the four villainous Dalton brothers in the form of John Cusack (White Jazz, Love & Mercy) and Zach Galifianakis ("Baskets", Masterminds). They join the already cast Paul Rudd as Lucky Luke.
American Psycho: The Musical: Joining the cast of this musical film are some more actors known for their musical work. Kristen Bell ("The Good Place", Bad Moms) has signed on to play Patrick Bateman's (Benjamin Walker) girlfriend and Raul Esparza ("Hannibal", Law & Order: Special Victims Unit") has been cast as a detective investigating the disappearance of one of Bateman's colleagues. Rupert Goold (True Story) has also finalized a deal to direct. He previously directed the musical on stage in London.
Trigger: Suraj Sharma (Life of Pi, Million Dollar Arm) has landed the lead role of an engineer recruited to join a terrorist organization in Peter Weir's Trigger. He joins Adrien Brody in the film.
Siren: Amanda Seyfried (The Last Word, While We're Young) and Miles Teller (Green River, Whiplash) have been cast in the lead roles in Robert Eggers and Ben Collins' new fantasy-horror film. Teller plays a young man at his bachelor party who is unwittingly taken to a supernatural sex club where he meets the mysterious Lily, who will be played by Amanda Seyfried.
