In Development

Evangelion: Just before the film's release, it has been revealed that Patrick Stewart (Green Room, Logan), Malin Akerman (Eleanor & Park, Perfect Blue) and Elijah Wood (Sweet Tooth, The Trust) have all shot roles in the upcoming anime adaptation from director Joss Whedon and writer Meirad Tako. Akerman will play Taron Egerton's wife, while Stewart will play the leader of the organization fighting the alien Angels and Wood will play a mecha pilot.

To the Moon:
Gretchen Mol (Manchester by the Sea, "Nightflyers"), Lucas Hedges (Hippies in New York, Outlaw Country) and Maddie Ziegler (The Book of Henry) will round out the cast of the upcoming sci-fi drama To the Moon, based on the video game of the same name. Mol will play the caretaker of David Harbour's dying character, while Hedges and Ziegler will play the younger versions of the characters played by Harbour and Carrie Coon. Charlie McDowell is directing from a script by Seth Overton.

One for the Ages: Vince Vaughn (Blood on the Moon, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City), Saoirse Ronan (Hippies in New York, Scion 2) and Florence Pugh (The Tower, Outlaw King) have joined Natalie Portman in the Babe Didrikson Zaharias biopic One for the Ages. Vaughn will play Portman's husband, Pugh will play Portman's younger golf rival, while Ronan will play Portman's protege. Lass Hallstrom directs from a script by Chad Taylor.

Ubik: The Philip K. Dick adaptation, Ubik, from director Alex Garland, has added Lena Headey (Cleopatra, Made in Abyss), Matt Smith (Burial Rites, Standing Back) and Clark Gregg (The Life of the Party, "Agents of SHIELD") to its ensemble cast. Headey will play the wife of James McAvoy's character, Smith will play a friend of Michael Fassbender's character, while Gregg will play one of McAvoy's employees. Rookie screenwriter Rosie JoLove penned the adaptation.

7 Days: Sterling K. Brown (Missoula, "This Is Us") and Julianne Moore (Bravo/Samurai, Cosa Nostra) have joined the anticipated thriller from director S. Craig Zahler and writer Mo Buck. Brown will play a detective investigating the crimes of the plot, while Moore will play the wife of Bryan Cranston.

The Hazel Wood: Another new writer has hit the scene, this time it is Grim O'Grady, whose first film will be an adaptation of the novel The Hazel Wood. Haley Lu Richardson (Runaway, Somewhere, Somehow), Sandra Bullock (Displacement, Bird Box) and Ellen Burstyn (Heavy Rain, Nostalgia) have all joined the fairy tale-inspired project. Richardson will play a young woman who must encounter the fairy tales of her grandmother (Ellen Burstyn) in order to find her mother (Sandra Bullock).
