Plot: The World is dying, attacks from the 'angel' alien race shakes the world. The disaster called 'Second Impact' had changed everything.
To counter 'angel's attack. I America an experiment called 'The Project XY' begun, the project is to make 2 subject call Project X (Taron Egerton) and Subject Y (Elijah Wood) come to life and control a giant bio-mechanic creature but a big explosion occurred because the ambush of rebel organization called 'Soldier of God' that believe angel is ordered by god to destroy human. And as a human they have to accept the destruction.
They successfully steal Subject X and bring him to their HQ deep inside the Amazon. They manipulate Subject X's databases and really bring Subject X come to life.
Subject X became a non-emotional machine and always follow Charles Don (Patrick Stewart)'s order as the leader of the Organization.
The Fifth angel attacks Washington DC, the Eva 02 the piloted by Subject Y has send to destroy the Angle. While the people American Nerv was busy controlling the conscious of Subject Y in the Eva.
Soldier of God brake into the HQ and take over the control room and send Subject X in Eva 01.
Subject Y had destroy the Angle but shocked by attack by Eva 01, a big fight happened with a mass destruction and Explosion that destroy 70% of the city. The red sea water cover the city.
Subject Y almost destroyed by Subject X but suddenly Subject X stopped.
Electrical spark came out from Subject X's back.
Subject X is officially off. But in his mind, he see a woman, he remembers her name is Jessica Thompson (Malin Akerman), his wife.
Jessica stands before him and say something that cannot be listened by him but he feel weird as if he knows what she said. She then touches his head and say "Come back to life, Darling"
Subject Y that turn the table almost destroy Eva 01 that off all of the sudden.
But he stop when his Eva's fist stopped by Eva 01 and that he say "Oh Shit"
Eva 01 hugs Eva 02 and a red muscle with a mask that similar to Angel's face appear and glow.
Eva 01 exploded along side with the city of Washington DC.
