Revelations: Peter Dinklage (The Reign of Lady Morgana, Lucky Luke and Billy the Kid), Claire Danes (Blackbird, "Homeland") and Amanda Plummer (The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, Honeyglue) have signed on to round out the cast of the religious-themed drama Revelations from director Todd Haynes and writer James Morgan. Dinklage will play Joaquin Phoenix's brother, Danes will play Sally Hawkins' sister, while Plummer will play a member of the church at the center of the story.
Maximum Ride: School's Out Forever: Alyvia Alyn Lind (Maximum Ride, Visions), Colin Ford (The Birds, Maximum Ride), Patrick Stewart (Maximum Ride, Evangelion) will all reprise their roles from the first Maximum Ride film, while Simon Pegg (Aliens vs Predator: The First Hunt, Bright Neon Lights) has also joined the project in a voice role. Joss Whedon is directing from an adaptation by HG Hansen.
Fractured: Rounding out the cast of the Shia LaBeouf and Ben Foster-led MMA drama Fractured will be Jeremy Strong (Molly's Game, "Succession"), professional wrestler Kenta Kobayashi and Buddy Duress (Beware of Dog, Good Time). Strong will play an MMA executive, while Kobayashi and Duress will play opponents of LaBeouf's character. Director Myroslav Slaboshpytskyi makes his English-language film debut. Jimmy Ellis and Chad Taylor penned the original script.
Death in the Shadows: Jon Bernthal (B.R.I.G.A.N.D.S., Tenth Circle), Travis Fimmel ("Vikings", Aliens vs Predator: The First Hunt) and Milo Ventimiglia ("This Is Us", The Art of Racing in the Rain) have joined the cast of the WWII horror project Death in the Shadows from director S. Craig Zahler and writer Jack Slipter. They will play members of a platoon who finds something worse than Nazis in a German forest toward the end of the war.
Haunted: Alex Wolff (Drugstore Perfume, Scream 5), Bill Hader ("Barry", Booster Gold II: The Booster Gold Story) and Jeremy Irons (Flash Gordon, Cold) have signed on to star in the drama Haunted. Wolff and Hader will the main character at different ages, while Irons will play the father. Alex Conn (Morrissey and Marr, Heights) wrote the story, with Kogonada (Cascade, The Letter J) behind the camera. Writer John Malone (Heights, Crimson) has also signed on to the project as the lead producer of the fim.
Resident Evil 3: Saoirse Ronan (Scion 3, One for the Ages), Rodrigo Santoro (Uncharted, Blood on the Moon), Mads Mikkelsen (Mass Effect 3 - Part 1, Burial Rites) and Trevante Rhodes (Black Lightning, Runaway) have signed on to star in the video game adaptation Resident Evil 3. Ronan will reprise her role from the first film as rookie police officer Jill Valentine. Mikkelsen, Santoro and Rhodes will play members of a security team trying to contain the outbreak of the virus. James Wan (Resident Evil 2, Dragon Ball: The Wrath of the Demon King) is back to direct, once again from a script by Carl Flimmer (Aliens vs Predator: The First Hunt, Resident Evil 2).
The Kiss Quotient: After the success of The Wonder, writer Rosie JoLove (The Wonder, Beartown) is back with another literary adaptation, this one an adaptation of the romantic novel by Helen Hoang. The film tells the story of an awkward woman who hires an escort to help her attract a man she is interested in. Cristin Milioti (Palm Springs, Newbury Street) has signed on to the lead role while Steven Yeun (Dragon Ball: The Wrath of the Demon King, Aliens vs Predator: The First Hunt) is attached to the role of the escort. Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Dragon Ball: The Wrath of the Demon King, Lost Planet) has signed on to the role of the man the lead is trying to attract. Lulu Wang (Posthumous, The Farewell) has been hired to direct the film.
