The Roundup with Jeff Stockton (Season 16 Round 8)

And the studio's solid box office run has come to a screeching halt. Here's The Roundup....

3. Revelations
While some of the story felt a bit familiar, especially with the other recent cult-themed projects at LRF, it was still interesting and well-cast.

2. Fractured
I really enjoyed Fractured. The ending was a bit confusing, but the interaction between Foster and LaBeouf was great and intense throughout.

1. Shia LaBeouf
In the early days of LRF, LaBeouf was on his way to the A-List, but his work has been less frequent in later seasons. Fractured was a nice return to form for him. Hopefully we'll see more of him in the near future.

3. Sports Movies
I love a good sports movie, but they have always proven to be tricky at the box office. Fractured was no different, losing a sizable amount at the box office. Word has it there will be one more sports movie this season, so let's hope that one fares better.

2. Resident Evil 3
Not a terrible movie, but it did have way too many characters. Most were fairly irrelevant to the overall plot and could have been cut out without missing anything important.

1. Box Office
The studio was on a major hot streak when it came to profitable films, but that clearly came to an end this round with it losing money overall.
