With four rounds now down, we are almost to the halfway point of Season 18. Here is the latest edition of The Roundup....
3. Soundtracks
Finally this round featured a soundtrack that I would consider a serious contender for Best Soundtrack... The Punisher. The soundtrack felt fresh and unique to the genre and film, hoping paint an interesting vibe for the latest Marvel Universe film.
2. Elisabeth Moss
The lady is on a roll now with two straight hit thrillers she has headlined, Visions and now Bad Dreams Come True.
1. The Punisher
What a great, interesting take on the Punisher character. Mel Gibson was an awesome choice for the main character, really setting the film apart from other interpretations of the Frank Castle.
3. Box Office
This round only had one film gross over $100 million, and the studio now only has five $100 million films on the season as it nears the halfway point.
2. Profits
The box office gross wasn't completely horrible this round, but the profits were not to be found once again. That said, the small profits earned this round account for over half of the season's profits so far, which is not a good sign.
1. Columbine
Oh boy... This film added no insight and seemed to know little to nothing about its subject matter. It felt no different than other Alex Conn films where teenagers just sit around writing poetry and smoking weed. What was the point of this film?
