Worried Mind: Rounding out the cast of the Robert Pattinson-led Eric Clapton biopic will be Camila Morrone (Chopping Mall, Mickey and the Bear), Tommy Flanagan (Killers Anonymous, "Wu Assassins"), David Thewlis (Crowley, Gargoyles) and Noah Jupe (Honey Boy, The Sandman). Jupe will play a young version of Clapton, Flanagan and Thewlis will play family members, while Morrone will play a potential love interest for the main character. Andrew Haigh directs from a script by Chad Taylor.
The Youngest Hart: Jason Beghe ("Californication", "Chicago P.D."), John De Lancie (AGOS: A Game of Survival, Odette) and Dev Patel (Odette, Driving Around the Time) have signed on to complete the cast of The Youngest Hart from director Greta Gerwig and writer Jacob Jones. Beghe will play a judge, while De Lancie and Patel will both play opposing lawyers in the film. Reese Witherspoon leads the cast.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer: The reboot of the Buffy franchise has added Annalise Basso (Blue Beetle, Bravo/Samurai), Kira Kosarin ("Light as a Feather", "The Thundermans"), Russell Brand (Army of One, Peter and the Shadow Thieves) and Li Jun Li ("Quantico", "Wu Assassins") to its cast. Basso and Kosarin will play classmates of Buffy (played by Meg Donnelly). Brand will play a vampire, while Li Jun Li will play a vampire slayer. Cathy Yan is directing the film from a script by Walter McKnight.
The Journey: Jace Norman (Crazy Little Thing Called Love, "Henry Danger") and Joey Bragg (Father of the Year, "Liv and Maddie") have signed on to join Tom Holland and Kiernan Shipka in The Journey. Norman will play a friend of Holland's while Bragg will play Shipka's jealous ex-boyfriend. Fernando Gonzalez Molina is directing the film from a script by Meirad Tako.
Tumor: Asher Angel (Our Father, Shazam!), Raffey Cassidy (The Tournament, Recursion) and Nicholas Hamilton (Maximum Max, All the Pretty Horses) have joined Julianne Moore's directorial debut, Tumor. Angel and Cassidy will play the friends of a teenage girl diagnosed with a brain tumor, while Hamilton will play the school bully. Jimmy Ellis penned the original screenplay.
Caesar: Leonardo DiCaprio (Calamity, Blackwater) has been cast as the famed Roman leader, Julius Caesar, in an epic new film about his life. Written by John Malone (Namor the Sub-Mariner, Crimson) and Chad Taylor (The Black Cat, The King of Hearts) and directed by Christopher Nolan (The Prisoner, Tenet), the goal is for this film to be the first in a trilogy covering the majority of Caesar's adult life. Joining DiCaprio in this first film will be Russell Crowe (Blind Faith, Tales of Skyrim: Stormcloak) and Jeremy Irons (Haunted, The Smoke in the Red Country) as the other two-thirds of the famed First Triumvirate, Pompey Magnus and Marcus Crassus, who plotted to control Rome.
