"Now that we know all of our primary players, director Jeff Nichols and writer John Malone come back with a bang in this sequel. The action sequences are big and frequent enough to keep audiences entertained and awake." - Ben Mazur, SciFiNow
"This sequel lacks the some of the strong character development that its predecessor really nailed, except for Vin Diesel's Lobo, who was a fun addition (even if he feels like he's from a different movie tonally). It's still a well-made blockbuster, the first film simply set the bar way too high for this sequel to reach."
- Mark Plainsview, ReelViews
“Let’s get this out of the way now: The Last Son of Krypton is not as strong of a film as The Man of Tomorrow. That said, it’s still a very good superhero effort. Writer John Malone and Director Jeff Nichols have a very clear understanding of their characters and it shows repeatedly. The plot however gets a little messy with a total of three different villains involved in the proceedings.” - Michael Carthage, Associated Press
Rated PG-13 for intense sequences of sci-fi superhero action, scenes of peril and some language
