Batgirl: Kristin Lehman (Batman: Caped Crusader, Lie Exposed) and Orlando Jones (Batman: In the Shadows, "Sleepy Hollow") will reprise their previous DC Comics Universe roles as Sarah Essen and Lucius Fox respectively in Batgirl. Maria Bello ("NCIS", The Water Man) has also been set to appear in the film as Dr. Leslie Thompkins, a doctor at Arkham Asylum. Reed Morano directs from a script by APJ.
Collapse: Anna Chlumsky ("Veep", They/Them), Brooklynn Prince (Free Spirit, Zatanna), Elsie Fisher (The Child Martyr, My Best Friend's Exorcism) and Sally Field (Haven, Free Spirit) will round out the cast of the drama Collapse from writer Mo Buck and director Derek Cianfrance. Chlumsky will play the sister of Merritt Wever's character, Field will play their mother, while Prince and Fisher will play the daughters of the characters played by Wever and Ryan Gosling.
The Young Heiress: Adam Pascal (The Phantom of the Opera, Punk's Dead), Jeremy Jordan (Open Hearts, The Punisher), Ramin Karimloo (Greenwater Amusements, Nativity Rocks!) and Colm Wilkinson (Les Miserables) will round out the cast of the animated musical The Young Heiress. The film comes from director Glen Keane and writer Jacob Jones.
Skin: Ben Hardy (Golden Girl, Stan) and Hassie Harrison ("Yellowstone", "Tacoma FD") have joined Katherine Langford and Evan Peters in Ben Wheatley's horror film, Skin. Hardy will play Langford's brother while Harrison will play Peters' wife. Ben Collins penned the film.
Survive the Night: Anya Taylor-Joy (Broadway, Wolf), Charlie Heaton (Unknown, "Stranger Things") and Nick Robinson (Midnight Tales, Rookie's Road) are set to headline a film based on the novel Survive the Night by Riley Sager. Taylor-Joy will play a college student who goes on a trip home via ride share only to suspect that a serial killer is after her. Heaton will play the driver the the ride share and Robinson will play Taylor-Joy's boyfriend. M. Night Shyamalan (Depth Perception, Old) is set to direct the film from an adaptation by Eden Townsend (Winter's Displeasure, What We Were Promised).
Man Made Machine: Margot Robbie (Broadway, The Birds) and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (The Devil's Passage, Ambulance) have been tapped to headline the high-concept sci-fi action film Man Made Machine. Abdul-Mateen II is set to play a top-level CIA agent who misses an assignment, while Robbie will play a woman who becomes tangled up in his mission. James Cameron (Assassin's Creed: The New Order, Avatar: The Way of Water) is set to direct the film based on an original script by Jimmy Ellis (Daredevil, Blue Beetle: Legacy) and Chad Taylor (Monaco, The Flash #2).
