LRF COMIC-CON (SEASON 25)

Welcome to the 9th Official Last Resort Films Comic-Con! This season, we have exclusive news and behind-the-scenes information on seven upcoming LRF releases for Season 25....

Round 1 - Nomad
We've already heard most of the cast news for Nomad, a new Casey Affleck-led Marvel Universe production written by Dwight Gallo and Jimmy Ellis, who have previously teamed up on Red Wolf and Luke Cage: Power Man. For the film's Comic-Con panel we have a first look at the film's poster.

The studio also wants to make sure everyone knows to stay after the end-credits of this one as its end of credits stinger will tease a character set to have a very big impact for the rest of the Marvel Universe.



Round 2 - Batgirl
We already know that Madelaine Petsch and Bryan Cranston will be back to reprise their DC Comics Universe roles of Barbara Gordon / Batgirl and Commissioner Jim Gordon respectively. But as a Comic-Con exclusive we now also know that Black Hole breakout star Toby Wallace is set to play the film's villain. No word yet on what character he will be playing.

Round 4 - The Hammer of Thor
The first Marvel Universe film from writer Roy Horne will be a fresh on the character of Thor. Not much is known about the film yet, but the studio has revealed the star who will play the title character: none other than Channing Tatum. We have a first look at the film's poster which features the star in the role.

Round 5 - The Sandman: Season of Mists
Johnny Depp is back as Dream in the highly anticipated sequel to The Sandman. There will be multiple new characters in this film, but possibly none more important than Lucifer Morningstar himself. After an extensive search, the filmmakers decided to go with Jonny Lee Miller.

Round 6 - The Punisher: Last Exit
Mel Gibson's Punisher is back for another entry after the critical acclaim of the first film in Season 18. In addition to Gibson, S. Craig Zahler and Dwight Gallo are back as director and writer, respectively. For this Comic-Con panel, we have a look at the film's poster as well as preview of the film's soundtrack.

"Down By The River" - Purple Snow




Round 8 - Nightwing
The first solo film for Taron Egerton's Dick Grayson, Grayson, under-performed at the box office, but the character will be back on the big screen for a sequel regardless. The character now finally has the Nightwing persona and to go along with that we have a first look at the poster for the film.

Round 9 - Scarlet
One new Marvel Universe production that hasn't made it to the press yet is Scarlet, an origin story for the character Scarlet Witch. Hot off her GRA nominated performance in The Big One, Sadie Sink has signed on to star in the title role in the film, which will reportedly be aiming for a supernatural horror tone.
