For this edition of Resume, we will look at the LRF career of Hollywood sweetheart Reese Witherspoon as her 6th film for the studio, Idlewild Ranch, is about to hit the big screen.

For her LRF debut, Reese Witherspoon headlined Nocturne, a supernatural thriller, alongside Jeremy Renner where they have to contend with a boogeyman terrorizing a family. The film was a sizable success at the box office and managed some decent reviews.

Next for Witherspoon was a role in the acclaimed ensemble drama, Revolution. The film was a hit with critics and audiences alike. Witherspoon won a GRA trophy for Best Ensemble Cast as part of the cast.

Witherspoon wasn't away from the studio for long, returning just one season later as the star of this dark comedy/thriller about a Midwestern wife who suspects her husband is having an affair, only to learn it is much worse than that. The film was another box office success on Witherspoon's resume. She was also nominated for Best Actress, but the film came away from the GRA ceremony empty-handed.
