After careful consideration, Last Resort Films president Phil Dolan has decided to okay a possible
Batman film series from writer APJ (Blue Beetle, Mona Lisa). The okay does not come without stipulations though. The film reportedly cannot tie into any existing Batman films and cannot cover ground already covered in the Warner Bros-produced Batman films or other WB-produced DC Comics films. Writer APJ is reportedly okay with these guidelines. No word yet on the time frame in which we may hear more about this project, but based on the studio's release schedule, it would not be unthinkable to see a possible Batman film in late Season 4 or early Season 5.
