In Development

Amelie: Four Wes Anderson regulars and one newcomer have joined the cast of his Amelie remake. Tilda Swinton (The Grand Budapest Hotel, Doctor Strange) and Bill Murray (Aloha, The Monuments Men) have signed on to portray Amelie's parents. Michael Gambon (Paddington, Kingsman: The Golden Circle) and Anjelica Huston (Choke, The Big Year) will play people Amelie helps, while Garace Marillier (Raw) will play a co-worker of Amelie.

The Informers: Actor/musician Shane West has signed on to play a rock star in The Informers, while Nicola Peltz (Affluenza, Transformers: Age of Extinction) and Jane Levy (Monster Trucks, Don't Breathe) have scored supporting roles in the ensemble drama.

Metal Gear Solid: Matthew Fox (Extinction, Bone Tomahawk), William Fichtner (Every Secret Thing, Without Remorse) and Keith David ("Greenleaf", The Nice Guys) have rounded out the cast of Joseph Kosinski's Metal Gear Solid. Fox will play a villainous operative known as Gray Fox, Fichtner will play an operative known as Revolver Ocelot, while David will play Donald Anderson.

Inhumans: Some actors not from the ill-received "Inhumans" TV series have joined the film adaptation. Keira Knightley (Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit, The Raven in the Night) has signed a very lucrative contract to appear as Oola Udonta. Meanwhile, Kevin McKidd ("Grey's Anatomy", Home Sweet Hell), Doug Jones (The Shape of Water, "Star Trek: Discovery) and Lee Pace (Guardians of the Galaxy, "Halt and Catch Fire") have also been cast. McKidd has been cast as the Kree Huran Accuser. As he often does in del Toro films, Doug Jones has been cast as two characters: Arris and Eldrac the Door. Lee Pace will also reprise his role of Ronan the Accuser from Guardians of the Galaxy.

Six Billion Dollar Man: Last Resort Films has greenlit a film adaptation of the television series, The Six Million Dollar Man. This new version, Six Billion Dollar Man, will be directed by Daniel Espinosa (Safe House, Child 44). Leading the cast as astronaut Steve Austin will be Chris Pratt (Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Passengers).

Death and All His Friends: Quentin Tarantino (The Hateful Eight, Django Unchained) has been hired to direct a film for Last Resort Films from writer Mo Buck, Death and All His Friends. Christian Bale (Hostiles, The Big Short) and Christoph Waltz (Django Unchained, Spectre) are set to lead the cast. Bale will play a man forced to fight to the death by Waltz's villainous character.
