In Development

Zombieworld: Zombieworld has rounded out its cast with Elisha Cuthbert (Goon: Last of the Enforcers, "The Ranch") and Sean Faris ("Pretty Little Liars", Adulterers) joining the project. They will play a couple honeymooning at the zombie-populated theme park when all hell breaks loose. David Ayer directs from a script by Andrew Doster.

Silver Surfer: Keanu Reeves' Silver Surfer will have company in the cosmos with the additions of Arnold Vosloo (G.I. Joe: Retaliation, Odd Thomas), Gemma Arterton (Their Finest, Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters) and Rutger Hauer (Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, Hobo with a Shotgun) to the cast of Silver Surfer. Vosloo will portray the villain Galactus. Arterton will play Shalla-Bal, the Reeves' long-time love. Rutger Hauer, meanwhile, will play the Master of Zenn-La, ruler of the Surfer's home planet.

Inferno: Vincent D'Onofrio (Jonestown, Jurassic World), Gary Oldman (Darkest Hour, Hunt) and Josh Brolin (The Dead Zone, Jonestown) will join the already cast James Franco and Tom Hiddleston in Tom Tykwer's Inferno. D'Onofrio will play Charon, pilot of the ferry to the first circle of Hell. Oldman will play Satan himself. Brolin will play Julius Caesar. Mo Buck wrote the film which the first in a planned trilogy.

Red Planet: Following the behind-the-scenes trouble with his Fantastic Four film and his firing from a Star Wars spin-off, Josh Trank has finally lined up his next film, a sci-fi film about a crew of astronauts stranded on Mars. Michelle Williams (The Greatest Showman, Manchester by the Sea) and Oscar Isaac (Paradise Lost, Dracula Origins) have signed on to star in the ensemble film. Williams will play the pilot of the Mars lander, while Isaac will play the crew geologist.

Animus: Irrfan Khan (Jurassic World, The Amazing Spider-Man), Josh Holloway (The Last of Us, "Colony") and Kumail Nanjiani (The Big Sick, "Franklin & Bash") will headline the international cast of Jeff Nichols' latest film. The story is a contained thriller about three men who find themselves held captive. Jack Ryder wrote the script.

Gorky Park: Legendary filmmaker Brian De Palma (The Black Dahlia, Passion) has reached a deal to direct a new adaptation of Martin Cruz Smith's novel Gorky Park. Joel Edgerton (The Dead Zone, Bright) and Alicia Vikander (The Danish Girl, Jason Bourne) will lead the film. Edgerton will play a detective in Cold War-era Moscow investigating the deaths of the three people found in the park. Vikander will play his love interest, the girlfriend of an American sable importer.
