In Development

Six Billion Dollar Man: As soon as Chris Pratt was cast as Steve Austin in Six Billion Dollar Man, the next question asked was regarding who would play Oscar Goldman, head of the OSI. Well, the answer that question is Guy Pearce (Iron Man 3, The Rover). His contract reportedly has sequel commitments as Last Resort Films hopes this is just the start of a big film franchise. Bunny Lake is Missing scribe Matt Parker wrote the script.

Death and All His Friends: Quentin Tarantino has enlisted some more familiar faces for his latest film. Samuel L. Jackson (The Legend of Tarzan, The Hateful Eight), Walton Goggins (Blood Meridian, "Vice Principals") and Uma Thurman (Burnt, Bel Ami) have joined the proceedings as other participants in the death matches planned by the villain. The real news here though is that Thurman will be reprising her most famous role, The Bride, from Tarantino's Kill Bill films.

American Playboy: Damien Chazelle (Whiplash, La La Land) has been hired to direct a biopic of famed Playboy founder Hugh Hefner. Andrew Garfield (Silence, The Amazing Spider-Man) has reportedly beaten out several high-profile actors to land the coveted starring role. Dwight Gallo (Blackwater, Atlas Shrugged) wrote the script.

Easy Money: Robert Pattinson (Velvet, Roanoke) has signed on to re-team with his Good Time directors, the Safdie Brothers (Good Time), for a remake of the hit Swedish film, Snabba Cash, written by Mark Newton (Without Remorse). Pattinson will play a man who becomes a drug dealer to pay for his expensive life style.

Tumulus: Keanu Reeves (John Wick, Silver Surfer) has been cast in a far more grounded film than Silver Surfer. In this supernatural thriller, Reeves will play a man who discovers that the woods near his new home may be home to a malevolent presence. David Slade (30 Days of Night, Hard Candy) directs the film from a script by Clive Steinbeck (The Secret History).

Hawkman: Writer APJ (Blue Beetle, Mona Lisa) continues to work within the world of DC Comics, this time bringing us the character of Hawkman on the big screen for the first time. Last Resort Films has reportedly tapped Len Wiseman to direct the film. According to sources, the filmmakers are down to two actors for the lead role: Taylor Kitsch (Only the Brave, "True Detective") and Joel Edgerton (The Dead Zone, upcoming Gorky Park). They will reportedly wait to see how well Gorky Park does at the box office before making a final decision.
