Plot: Following a zombie apocalypse, the famous eccentric millionaire Donald Grainger (Ving Rhames) opened a kind of park in an island using zombies as an attraction, locked up in cages, used as targets or for other macabre games.
A group of friends goes on the island after winning tickets. Jess (Rose Leslie), Beth (Amber Heard), Laura (Nina Dobrev) and Vicky (Suki Waterhouse). Following an attack by environmentalists some zombies are released and the infection spreads between visitors and staff. The friends, except Vicky who is killed by the zombies, take refuge in an empty restaurant where they find a couple on their honeymoon, Nathan (Sean Faris) and Trish (Elisha Cuthbert). Shortly after Trish transforms and bites Laura in the face, Nathan manages to hit her but is taken from behind by Laura, now transformed.
Beth and Jess run away and find a small boat with which they reach a nearby island. When they arrive there they discover Grainger's suicide corpse and a laboratory where they experimented with zombies to make them more resistant, cunning and quick.
They find a motorboat but are surprised by some zombies, they seem to be able to escape but one of the creatures runs and reaches Beth. Jess runs off and escapes with the speedboat offshore.
