Reaction: Those are just plain disastrous results that we really don't have any answers for. We decided to market the film a little more than we might have because of confidence in the writer and the director, but nobody showed up. Both theater and home video revenue were all-time lows for the studio. With just four films released so far this season, we already have two box office bombs.

"Writer Jack Ryder and director Jeff Nichols provide a film that despite being set in one room contains as many twists and turns as a big budget thriller." - Ben Bernard, New York Times

"There are some holes in the story, but ultimately the film may have still worked with a more talented cast. Khan and Nanjiani both really lack the range to pull off the characters and really struggle throughout the film. Holloway comes off only slightly better." - Charles Yost, Oregonian

"The film is well-paced and well-shot and features a gut punch of an ending." - Stephen Ridley, Boston Globe
