Booster Gold: Lost in Time: Also returning from the second Booster Gold film will be Dan Stevens ("Drive", Dark Matter), who played Rip Hunter the final scene, and Emmy Rossum (Parasite, Rachel Rising) will return as April, Booster Gold's girlfriend. Jessica Rothe (Happy Death Day 2U, Forever My Girl) has also signed on to the film as a new character that is currently being kept under wraps. Phil Lord and Chris Miller are directing from a script by Chad Taylor.
The Vegan Movie: Connie Britton (The Informers, "Dirty John") and Kara Hayward (Us, To the Stars) will round out the cast to Peter Bogdanovich's The Vegan Movie. Britton will play the main character's mother, while Hayward will play a high school student. Alex Conn wrote the script.
Cold: In an interesting bit of casting, Colin Hanks (Sweet Tooth, Splinter Cell), Wyatt Russell (Doctor Love, Calamity), Max Irons (Metal Gear Solid 2, Damned Ship) and Kiefer Sutherland ("Designated Survivor", Where Is Kyra?) have all been cast as the younger versions of characters played by their fathers: Tom Hanks, Kurt Russell, Jeremy Irons and Donald Sutherland. David Fincher is directing the film from a script by James Morgan.
Don't Hang Up: Ryan Reynolds (Uncharted 2, The Two Souls) and Michael Keaton (October Crisis, Cape Torment) have just signed on to star in an upcoming crime dramedy from director Tom McCarthy (Spotlight, The Cobbler) and writer Mo Buck (Under Pressure, Crimson Fox). They will play a father-son duo who caught up in a phone scam. John Slattery (Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Letter to Myself) and James Spader (Pudd'nhead Wilson, "The Blacklist") have also signed on to the film as the con artists who get Reynolds and Keaton to work for them.
Crazy Little Thing Called Love: Following her Season 10 Best Actress GRA win, Mackenzie Foy (Kite, Letter to Myself) has just signed on to headline the teen romantic drama, Crazy Little Thing Called Love. Mason Cook ("Speechless", The Lone Ranger) will also star in the film as a boy with a crush on Foy's character. Spanish director Fernando Gonzalez Molina (Palm Trees in the Snow, I Want You) will direct the film from a script by Meirad Tako (Assassin's Creed: The New Order, Police Story: The Return).
Mass Effect: First Contact: A new Mass Effect spin-off is readying for production. This film will serve as a prequel to the rest of the series. Alex Garland (Ubik, Adr1ft) will direct the film from a script by Seth Overton (Mass Effect 3 - Part 1, Blakbird). James McAvoy (Stray Dogs, Ubik) and David Oyelowo (Mandingos, Gringo) have signed on to star in the film. McAvoy will play a NASA scientist, while Oyelowo will play a younger David Anderson, the character previously played by Andre Braugher in three other films from the series.
