Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic: The cast for the studio's Star Wars film is continuing to fill out. Jeff Daniels (Jonestown, "The Looming Tower"), Christopher Meloni ("Happy!", Snatched), Michael K. Williams (Spawn 2: Payback, The Public) and Sung Kang (Fast & Furious 6, Bullet to the Head), Ed Skrein (Lancelot, "Hitman") have all joined the project from director Michelle MacLaren and writer Roy Horne. Daniels will play an Admiral, Meloni will play a crime boss, Williams will play a gang leader, while Kang will play a bounty hunter.
Scion 3: Three more are returning for the third film in the Scion series. Taron Egerton (Scion 2, Evangelion), Kelsey Asbille (Scion 2, Orchid) and Vera Farmiga (Prey, Scion 2) have all signed on to the dotted line to return to the series as Luqan, Selene and Jacosta, respectively. Jeff Nichols is once again directing from a script by John Malone and Chad Taylor.
The Mutation: Guillermo del Toro's latest horror-fantasy has added Teresa Palmer (Vixen: The Totems of Zambesi, 2060), Bill Murray (Spark of Madness, Amelie) and Guy Pearce (Paradiso, Six Billion Dollar Man) to its ensemble cast. Palmer will play Billy Magnussen's girlfriend, while Murray and Pearce will play members of a mysterious and other-worldly coastal town. Ben Collins penned the script.
Ypsilanti: Hot off his success at the 1st Golden Views Awards, Dwight Gallo ("Nez Perce", Outlaw Country) has set up an original crime-thriller at the studio. Daniel Craig (Halo: Reach, Solution) and Anya Taylor-Joy (Queen Mary, The Squared Circle) have signed on to star in the film. Craig will play an accomplished hunter who has moved on to more challenging targets, while Taylor-Joy will play a woman the hunter has set his sights on. David Slade (Alan Wake, Tumulus) will direct the film.
Under Pressure: After tackling wrestling with Doctor Love, Mo Buck (Doctor Love, To the Other Side) has now set his sights on the world of cycling for his next film. Emma Stone (Haute Couture, The Favourite) will headline the project as a professional cyclist with her sights on the Olympics. Felicity Jones (Dark Matter, Prey) and Leslie Bibb (Home Again, Tag) have also joined the film as fellow cyclists. Melanie Laurent (Galveston, Diving) is been hired to direct the film.
AGOS: A Game of Survival: After a few animated appearances in the Banded Ants series, Dwayne Johnson (Skyscraper, Rampage) is finally set to appear on-screen in an LRF release for the first time. He will star in an action film depicting a futuristic survival reality show. He will play one of the contestants on the show. He will he joined by Chadwick Boseman (Halo 3, B.R.I.G.A.N.D.S.) and Nicholas Hoult (Alternative, October Crisis) as fellow contestants on the show. Michael Bay (Justice League International, Transformers: The Last Knight) will direct the film from a script by Jacob Jones (Odette, Nexus).
