Reaction: It's the first huge, blockbuster sized hit of the season, and it couldn't have happened any sooner as far as we at the studio were concerned. The season was over a third of the way over and we still hadn't seen a huge hit. Hopefully this film opens up things at the box office for our other upcoming big budget releases.

"Honestly, the film feels too small. The stakes don't seem high enough in this entry, which is a pretty blatant attempt at a mulit-film story. The result is a film that feels rushed and incomplete." - Perry Manson, CinemaBlend.com

"Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic moves at a very brisk, fun pace throughout. Like Rogue One, SW: KOTOR has the vibe of a heist film. The goals of our characters are always clear, which helps make up for its short-comings." - Glenn Howard, Total Film

"While the film does feel a bit incomplete at the end, I personally enjoyed a film set in the Star Wars universe that is smaller in scale. Set thousands of years before the previous stories, this film did not have the luxury of familiar faces and names to help set things up, so I appreciated that the story was smaller and simpler than one has come to expect from Star Wars films." - Mark Plainsview, ReelViews

Rated PG-13 for frenetic sci-fi/fantasy action violence and scenes of peril.
