The Crow: Resurrected: Taylor Lautner (Road Rash, "Cuckoo"), Rosemary Harris (Suzanne, This Means War) and singer Adam Lambert ("Glee") have all joined the Crow reboot from director Sam Raimi and writer Jacob Jones. Lautner and Lambert will play former bandmates of the main character (played by Adam Driver), while Harris will play a woman who runs an orphanage.
Heights: Tom Cruise will be joined by Ingrid Bolsø Berdal ("Westworld", Hercules), Adam Scott (Survivor, American Playboy), Jane Levy (Dragon Ball: The Wrath of the Demon King, Before and After) and Michael Stuhlbarg (The Temptations, Julie) in the David Fincher-directed Heights. Berdal will play Cruise's wife, Scott will play his younger brother, Levy will play Cruise's mistress, while Stuhlbarg will play the architect who works with Cruise on his real estate developments. Alex Conn and John Malone penned the script.
Coma: Richard Gere (Time Out of Mind, The Dinner), Viola Davis (Cosa Nostra, Numero Uno) and the Human Torch himself Jack Reynor (The Fantastic Four, Y: The Last Man) have all signed on to the thriller Coma. Gere and Davis will play senior doctors at the hospital the main characters work at, while Reynor will play a new intern. Jeff Nichols is directing the film based on a script by Matt Parker, based on the novel by Robin Cook.
Excalibur: Nicolas Winding Refn (Kite, Crowley) has signed on to direct a re-imagining of John Boorman's fantasy classic Excalibur. Daniel Craig (Ypsilanti, Superman: The Man of Tomorrow), Christina Hendricks (Misfit, Born in Brooklyn) and George MacKay (Oklahoma!, The Devil in the White City) have all agreed to star. Craig will play the wizard Merlin, Hendricks will play the enchantress Morgana, while MacKay will play the young Arthur, who finds himself caught between magical machinations in Camelot. Roy Horne (Kite, Red Sonja) penned the film.
Gambit & Rogue: The studio's Marvel Universe continues to grow with the first spin-off featuring X-Men characters. Garrett Hedlund (The Devil's Passage, Red Farm) has signed on to star as the card hustling, kinetic energy-wielding Remy LaBeau AKA Gambit. He will be joined by Diana Silvers ("Burnt Prairie", "Space Force") as the power-stealing Rogue. Rebecca Ferguson (X-Men, Lady Red) will reprise her role as Mystique from X-Men in the film. Israeli director Alma Har'el (Honey Boy, Bombay Beach) will helm the film based on a script by Chad Taylor ("She-Hulk", Oklahoma!).
