"Dare I say this remake might actually surpass Hitchcock's original? Well, I dare. This film is filled with thrills and frights that will keep even the harshest critics thoroughly entertained." - Dave Vrosky, Den of Geek

"This is definitely a genre that writer APJ should tackle more frequently as he keeps the script moving at such an exciting and entertaining pace. Add in the spooky direction of a horror pro like director Mike Flanagan and a game cast of talented thespians, and you're in for a fun fright fest." - Clark Davis, JoBlo.com

"It's hard to find a lot of flaws with this film. It doesn't exactly reinvent the wheel, but it does take an already interesting premise and give it a strong update for a more modern sensibility." - Sean Williamson, Toronto Star

Rated PG-13 for frightening images and scenes of peril/terror
