In Development


Pulp: Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Pirate Latitudes, Mandingos), Andy Serkis (And the Birds Rained Down, Dark Places) and Ewan Bremner (First Cow, Wonder Woman) have rounded out the cast of Pulp from director Guy Ritchie and writers Jimmy Ellis and John Malone. Akinnuoye-Agbaje and Serkis will play enforcers for the kingpin played by Hugh Grant, while Bremner will play a doctor who unfortunately crosses paths with the characters played by Colin Farrell and Jason Statham.

He Kills: The sci-fi horror film He Kills has added Ali Larter (White Tiger, Lost Planet), Diane Guerrero ("Doom Patrol", Killerman) and Luke Grimes ("Yellowstone", Fifty Shades Freed) to its cast. The film is directed by Chloe Zhao based on a script by Billy Cruder.

Suburban: Bruce Greenwood (Bastion, Of Rocks and Sand), Ellar Coltrane (Alternative, The Tournament) and Bella Thorne (The Vegan Movie, ID) have signed on to the dramatic thriller Suburban. Greenwood will play the local district attorney, Coltrane will play his son while Thorne will play one of Coltrane's friends. These characters will cross paths with Colin Firth as a father seeking justice and revenge. Todd Field directs from a script by Alex Conn. John Malone is credited as the producer of the film.

After: Director Peter Berg (Triple Identity, Without Remorse) has signed on to his first LRF film since Season 7, agreeing to direct the new post-apocalyptic film, After. Jamie Bell (Death in the Shadows, Skyrim II: Dragonborn), Nat Wolff (Eleanor & Park, Semper Fi) and Jade Pettyjohn ("Little Fires Everywhere", Seberg) have joined the cast of the film, a post-apocalyptic thriller. Meirad Tako (Hotel California, Mr. Earthling) has penned the script.

The Hit Maker: Christian Bale (Mr. Earthling, The Dark Tower: The Gunslinger) has signed on to star as famed German music producer Frank Farian in a new musical comedy. The film will tell the story of how Farian formed the group Milli Vanilli and the ensuing controversy. Craig Brewer (Dolemite Is My Name, Black Snake Moan) has signed on to direct the biopic based on a script by Chad Taylor (The King of Hearts, No Laughing Matter).

Kylie Dates New York City: Reese Witherspoon (Revolution, Nevada, Iowa) has been tapped to headline the upcoming romantic comedy Kylie Dates New York City. She will play a woman tired of being alone who goes on a series of dates to break out of her comfort zone. Nancy Meyers (The Intern, It's Complicated) has been hired to direct the film, which was written by first-time writer Walter McKnight.
