Reaction: Well, those certainly weren't the numbers we were hoping for from this one. We tried to keep the costs low and hoped that the well-known cast would help at the box office, but it appears that out people don't flock to see actors like Jesse Eisenberg, Jonah Hill or Olivia Wilde. It also marks the second consecutive box office bomb for the studio from director Ang Lee.

"Jesse Eisenberg is an interesting choice for the lead role here. He isn't inherently likable, but neither is his character so it actually works nicely. I would have liked a little more focus on some sort of story rather than the episodic feel of the story, but there is something interesting in each scene even if they don't always add up to a whole." - Jeremy Raren, RottenTomatoes.com

"I liked it, but I definitely didn't love it. Eisenberg and Hill are solid in their scenes, showing strong chemistry and comedic timing. Wilde doesn't fare as well in a one-note role/performance, but I suppose her role serves what little plot there is." - Dave Cone, New York Post

"There are some strong scenes and Jonah Hill provides some effective comedic relief in his scenes, but ultimately there's little to grab onto and relate to in this story (and frankly there isn't a ton of story in this one)." - Charles Yost, Oregonian

Rated R for language, sexuality/nudity and drug content
