Reaction: Absolutely stellar numbers for a drama. Clearly the draw of seeing Cruise and Hanks on the big screen together for the first time was too much for audiences to resist. The King of Hearts is now the second highest grossing drama for LRF (and the highest without any sub-genres).

"They just don't seem to make movies like this anymore, and that's a shame. Two of the biggest movie stars of all time are at the top of their dramatic games here, expertly acting out Chad Taylor's fast-moving, entertaining script." - Matthew Ellis, USA Today

"Bennett Miller's latest film has everything working in its favor. Excellent performances across the board, especially from its stars, an interesting subject matter, and a screenplay that knows how to tie it all together." - Desmond Rodgers, TIME Magazine

"Cruise and Hanks appear to be having a ball playing opposite each other for the first time in their long, storied careers. While I could have used a few extra scenes of their feud, the film wisely doesn't overstay its welcome and it doesn't bog down the audience with medical jargon despite its subject matter. It's a classic, well-made Hollywood drama." - Madison Bennett, Vanity Fair

Rated PG-13 for some language, thematic material and depictions of medical procedures.
