In Development

The Hit Maker: Kenan Thompson (Going in Style, "Saturday Night Live"), Malcolm Barrett (War on Everyone, "Preacher") and Logan Browning (The Perfection, "Dear White People") will round out the cast of The Hit Maker from director Craig Brewer and writer Chad Taylor. Thompson and Barrett will play singers while Browning will play an MTV host.

Kylie Dates New York City: Cheryl Ladd (Unforgettable, Camera Store), Lamorne Morris ("Woke", Bloodshot) and Anders Holm (Real is Better, Game Over Man!) have joined the Reese Witherspoon-led romantic comedy, Kylie Dates New York City. Ladd will play Witherspoon's mother. Morris and Holm will plat two of Witherspoon's potential suitors, an FBI agent and a hotshot surgeon, respectively. Nancy Meyers is directing from a script by newcomer Walter McKnight.

Justice League Dark: The latest DC Comics team-up film will see some more returning players with Aubrey Plaza (Zatanna, Alien: Out of the Shadows), Gina (Martian Manhunter, Miss Bala), Keira Knightley (Swamp Thing, The Death of the Honest Man) and Monica Bellucci (Spectre, Zatanna) all reprising their respective DC Comics Universe characters from previous films. JA Bayona is the director based on a script by APJ and Jimmy Ellis.

The Smoke in the Red Country: Gerard Butler will have company in the upcoming Cold War action film from director Tomas Alfredson and writer Meirad Tako. Michael C. Hall (Captain Atom 2, Buried Memories), Jeremy Irons (Haunted, Cold) and Sean Patrick Flanery ("Hitman", Trafficked) have all signed on to appear. Irons will play the US President, Hall will play a government informant, while Flanery will play a guard.

Peter and the Shadow Thieves: Russell Brand (Peter and the Starcatchers, Army of One) and Jack Davenport (Hellraiser, Dracula Lives) have signed on to reprise their roles from Peter and the Starcatchers, while Noah Schnapp (ID, The Dark Tower: The Gunslinger) will be a new addition to the proceedings. Jon M. Chu is set to return as director while the film was penned by Wesley Campbell.

Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812: Rob Marshall (Time Passages, Mary Poppins Returns) has signed on to direct an adaptation of the Broadway musical Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812. The film will star Jared Leto (Femme Fatale, Missing Men), Selena Gomez (Zoe Maye, Story of Sade) and Justin Timberlake (Neuromancer, Wonder Wheel). The adaptation was penned by Jacob Jones (The Phantom of the Opera, The Crow: Resurrected).
