Release: Skyrim III: Dovahkiin

Skyrim III: Dovahkiin
Genre: Adventure/Fantasy
Director: Miguel Sapochnik
Writer: Mo Buck
Based on the video game series
Cast: Chris Hemsworth, Uma Thurman, Stellan Skarsgard, Jesper Christensen, Mark Hamill, Christopher Plummer, Frank Welker (voice)

Budget: $225,000,000
Domestic Box Office: $211,894,033
Foreign Box Office: $374,042,111
Total Profit: $90,139,850

Reaction: While the foreign box office took a nice jump, the domestic box office took a hit with it coming in at the lowest in the main Skyrim series (but still a lot higher than Tales of Skyrim: Stormcloak). As a result, the profits earned by this entry were drastically less than the first two Skyrim films.

"For most of its running time, this third Skyrim film is pretty light on the action, but it all leads up to a rather exciting climax to the dragon-centric trilogy." - Chris Price, Boston Herald

"After a multiple delays, it was exciting to finally get to see Skyrim III on the big screen. While it didn't live up to all of my expectations, the script by Mo Buck understands the world by this point, making for an easy and entertaining viewing experience." - Roger Taggart, Chicago Tribune

"Hemsworth as Gundmare seems a bit more oafish this time around in ways that are somewhat distracting. And despite seemingly being billed as an epic conclusion to the Skyrim trilogy, this film seemed rather small and oddly slight until the finale." - Jon Farrell, Hollywood Reporter

Rated PG-13 for intense fantasy action violence
