The Roundup with Jeff Stockton (Season 17 Round 3)

After the not-so-hot Round 2, this round was just what the studio needed at the box office. Here's The Roundup....

3. Skyrim 3
After multiple delays, I'm just happy that this one finally made it to a big screen release (and that Hemsworth recovered from his injury).

2. Super Mario
Clearly Taylor had a lot of fun writing this one and it definitely translated to the screen. The film's take on the characters were at times surprising, but still entertaining.

1. Box Office

After the poor box office showing of this season's second round, this was more than a nice comeback for the studio with a couple big performers.

3. Skyrim 3
I mostly liked this movie, but what was with the weird dopey demeanor Gundmare displayed in the first half or so of the film. I don't recall that from the other entries, so it felt out of place here and distracted me a bit.

2. He Kills
Way too many characters without enough time to develop them all. I think this particular story could have worked a lot better with a greater focus on just one set of characters, probably the family of Lilly's character.

1. Female Lead Roles
Three rounds into the season and I'm already a bit concerned about this season's slate of female leads for the awards season. Hopefully this turns around.
