Director Andy Muschietti is now one-for-two at the box office in his LRF career. His first film for the studio in Season 6, Reality, made a profit of $13 million, while his latest, Burnt Dreams, lost $2 million. So overall, he now has an $11 million profit between his two films.

The drama/fantasy genre combination has not been very successful for the studio thus far. This was the sixth film to feature the genre combo, which have combined to lose over $76 million for the studio.
