The Sandman: Noah Jupe (Honey Boy, The Titan), James Norton (Little Women, Mr. Jones), Grace Van Dien (The Binge, Lady Driver) and Gabriella Wilde ("Poldark", Endless Love) will round out the cast of the upcoming adaptation of the acclaimed comic series, The Sandman, from director Jonathan Glazer and writer Chad Taylor. Jupe will play a foster child, Norton will play a man obsessed with harnessing immortality, Van Dien will play a neighbor to Florence Pugh's character, while Wilde will play the younger version of Eva Marie Saint's character.
Kiss Me Katie: The latest LRF project from director Jean-Marc Vallee has added Anthony Turpel ("The Bold and the Beautiful", "Love, Victor"), Ty Simpkins (The Nice Guys, Jurassic World) and Nnamdi Asomugha (Crown Heights, Sylvie's Love) to its cast. Turpel will play the son of Eric Bana's character, a high school student. Simpkins will play the school's star football player, while former NFL Pro-Bowler-turned-actor Asomugha will play the coach of the football team. Jacob Jones wrote the script.
Escape the Unknown: Olivia Cooke (Maximum Ride: School's Out Forever, Trip), Logan Lerman (Hollow Creek, Lucky Luke and Billy the Kid), Clayne Crawford (Plastic Man, Deprogramming) and Jackson Robert Scott (Dark Matter, Child's Play) have all joined the supernatural horror period piece from director Scott Cooper and writer Jack Slipter.
Namor the Sub-Mariner: After landing LRF star Alden Ehrenreich for the lead role, the upcoming Marvel Universe film based on the adventures of Namor the Sub-Mariner, has added Logan Browning (The Perfection, "Dear White People"), Isaiah Washington ("The 100", Blue Caprice) and Peter Weller (Star Trek Into Darkness, Skin Trade) to its supporting cast. Browning and Washington will play a daughter-father marine biologist team, while Weller will play a US Navy admiral. JC Chandor is directing the film based on a script by John Malone.
The Devil's Revenge: The Season 14 action-western The Devil's Passage will have a sequel with cast members Mahershala Ali (The Devil's Passage, The Nickel Boys), Ethan Hawke (The Devil's Passage, Genetic Descent) and Garrett Hedlund (Red Farm, Gambit and Rogue) all set to return for a second go around. Lance Daly (Black '47, The Good Doctor) will replace Warwick Thornton as director. The film was once again penned by Jimmy Ellis (Hex: The Cult of Cain, Zatanna).
