Green Arrow: SuperMax: Stephen Rea (Greta, Black '47), Noel Clarke (Mute, 10x10), Dianne Doan ("Warrior", "Vikings") and Roland Kickinger (Terminator Salvation, Groomzilla) have all signed on to join the supporting cast of Green Arrow: SuperMax. They will all play inmates at a prison for metahumans that Green Arrow finds himself falsely imprisoned in. Rea will play the Pied Piper, Clarke will play Icicle, Doan will play Magenta, while Kickinger will play Iron Cross. Wes Ball directs from a script by APJ.
American Dragon: Patrick J. Adams (Halo: Reach, "Suits"), Troian Bellisario (Clara, "Pretty Little Liars") and Sam Waterston ("Gracie and Frankie", Miss Sloane) will round out the cast of the wrestling film, American Dragon. Adams and his real-life wife Bellisario will play WWE wrestlers Mike Mizanin and Nicole Garcia, respectively. Waterston, meanwhile, will play the WWE's resident neurosurgeon. Jonathan Levine is directing the film based on a script by Giovanni Garcia and Chad Taylor.
Watch Hill: Jason Clarke (Torso, Star Trek: Enterprise) and Ross Lynch (Beartown, "Rubber City Rockers") have joined Watch Hill from director Steven Soderbergh and writer Alex Conn. Lynch will play the love interest of Kaitlyn Dever, while Clarke will play a mysterious man who inserts himself into the life of the family that the film focuses on.
Painkiller Jane: Jason Mantzoukas (The Long Dumb Road, John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum), Adam Scott (Kylie Dates New York City, Heights) and Dylan Baker ("Hunters", Elizabeth Harvest) have been cast in the comic adaptation Painkiller Jane. Mantzoukas will play the police partner of the title character (played by Jessica Chastain. Baker will play a doctor, while Scott will play the title character's fiance. Chad Stahelski is directing from a script by Roy Horne.
The Brilliant Friend: Chace Crawford (Charlie Says, "The Boys"), Adelaide Kane (Under Pressure, The Devil's Hand) and Chandler Riggs ("The Walking Dead", Inherit the Viper) will round out the cast of the supernatural horror film, The Brilliant Friend. Crawford and Kane play friends of the character already being played by Lily Collins, while Riggs will play her brother. Reed Morano is set to direct the film. Andrew Doster wrote the script.
Corndog: Alex Wolff (Haunted, Drugstore Perfume), Chloe Grace Moretz (Buried Memories, Isla Vista) and Noah Centineo (To The Max, Born in Brooklyn) have been cast in the baseball-themed romantic comedy, Corndog. Wolff will play a rookie baseball player, Centineo will play a star player in the league, Moretz will play a woman caught between the two atheletes. Judd Apatow (Zoe Maye, Story of Sade) has signed on to direct the film, which was written by his now frequent collaborator Jacob Jones (Whammy, Kiss Me Katie).
