Round 1 - The Black Cat Strikes Again!
Season 22 will kick off with the latest film in the LRF Marvel Universe, a sequel to the Season 18 hit, The Black Cat. Director Karyn Kusama (The Black Cat, Rachel Rising) is once again behind the camera for this one once again from a script by Chad Taylor (Free Spirit, Run For Your Life). For this season's Comic-Con festivities, we have an exclusive look at star Ana de Armas (Mexican Gothic, Kansas City) in costume.
Round 3 - Batman Beyond
The first DC Comics Universe production of Season 22 will be an adaptation of the DC animated series, Batman Beyond. Taking the title role of teenager Terry McGinnis, who becomes a new, high-tech Batman many years in the future, will be Tanner Buchanan ("Cobra Kai", He's All That).
Round 6 - Elektra
Round 6 will feature the latest Marvel film from writer Dwight Gallo (X-Men: The Cure, Rodeo), Elektra. The film will tell the story of a woman trained by a guild of assassins who must protect her former mentor. The film will be directed by Zack Snyder (Gears of War, The Fountainhead) with the title role being filled by Sofia Boutella (Uncharted 3, Alex + Ada).
Round 7 - Who Watches the Watchmen
Writer Jimmy Ellis (The Void, Atlantis) has penned a sequel to the famed comic series Watchmen. Not much is known about the film at this time, but the studio has graced us with a first look at the poster for the film (minus talent names of course).
Round 9 - Fantastic Four: Doom
Round 9 will see a sequel to The Fantastic Four, once again from director Gareth Edwards (The Fantastic Four, Halo 5) and writer Mark Newton (Ghost Rider, Gears of War). Most of the cast from the first cast is expected to return, but one new face will be Sarah Snook (Harrelson, Village of Madness). She will play Alicia Masters, a blind woman who becomes the love interest of Ben Grimm / The Thing (Jason Segel).
Round 10 - Batman: In the Shadows
For the long-awaited fourth film in the Batman series from writer APJ (Green Arrow: SuperMax, Urban Cowboy) and director Joseph Kosinski (At the Mountains of Madness, The Andromeda Strain), Jake Gyllenhaal's Batman will be facing the main who trained him - Ra's Al Ghul - to be played by Viggo Mortensen (The Little Girl Who Was Too Fond of Matches, Tenth Circle) after previously appearing as the character in a cameo in the film Task Force X.
