GOSSIP RAG (SEASON 27)

In this segment, we will delve into the inside dirt on some of the latest and upcoming LRF releases and the studio's stars....

Daisy Edgar-Jones
The actress reportedly had a tough time getting rid of her character following her performance in Desert Dreams. Feeling depressed and anxious, and still very much like her character of Dorothy, Daisy Edgar-Jones has gone on a darkness retreat to spend three days and four nights in complete darkness to help "re-center" herself and get herself out of the "Dorothy" persona.

Tatiana Maslany
The relationship between actress Tatiana Maslany and director Joseph Kosinski has reportedly deteriorated over the course of her involvement in the LRF Batman film series. Sources close to the situation indicate that it wasn't just one incident that led to the bad blood, but rather a series of small disagreements regarding the direction of the films and the Catwoman character. While her role as Catwoman in the DC Comics Universe is still safe, rumor has it that Kosinski and writer APJ may be looking to bring in a new feminine foil/love interest for Jake Gyllenhaal's Batman in future entries of the film series.

Jim Carrey
It apparently took a lot of convincing and a lot of money for Jim Carrey to take on the role of the villainous Rasputin in Anastasia as the actor has been publicly considering retirement for several years now. The list of demands didn't stop at just money - which ended up being $14 million - but also that he had the final say on his dialogue in the film and that his role would be shot in just one month. The studio, director Bryce Dallas Howard and writer Walter McKnight agreed to all of Carrey's demands in order to secure his services.

Alexandra Daddario
In a rare piece of gossip that doesn't involve big ego and behind-the-scenes conflict, Alexandra Daddario has reportedly decided to one-up Glen Powell's trips to the children's hospital as Captain America, creating a friendly competition between the DC and Marvel Universes at LRF. She enlisted the entire cast - all in costume - of the upcoming Wonder Woman sequel to spend an entire day at a children's hospital in Greece, where part of the film is being shot.

Tom Hanks
After appearing in a small role in Namor the Sub-Mariner back in Season 17, Tom Hanks reportedly issued the filmmakers an ultimatum regarding his involvement in a sequel. He wanted a bigger role and his name second in the credits (only behind star Alden Ehrenreich) if they wanted him to return for Namor the Sub-Mariner: Imperius Rex. With the film not due out until closer to the end of the season, it will still be a little bit of time until we know if the filmmakers met his demands or if Hanks decided to ultimately bow out of the project.
