The Star Power Index was created by a team of data analysts, who have examined the LRF careers of many Hollywood stars to determine their current level of star power. This rating has taken into account only their LRF roles and has taken into consideration many different factors: starring roles, box office success, critical acclaim, GRAs, recency of their success (the more recent the better), etc.
Future editions will cover new categories but today the focus is on young Hollywood. And so this is the Top 33 Stars 33 & Under...
33. (TIE) Douglas Booth/George MacKay/Olivia DeJonge (71.0 ⬆⬇--)
When looking at this trio of stars, it is hard not to look back and praise the casting of Roy Horne's Excalibur. MacKay got the biggest initial rub from the film, landing several leading roles, but it is Booth and DeJonge who are more insurgent at the moment. Both benefit from the massive success of the Caesar films, while Booth also recently debuted as Jason Todd in the Batman series.
32. Joey King (71.3 ⬇)
31. Haley Lu Richardson (72.7 --)
30. Toby Wallace (73.5 ⬆)
29. Jack Reynor (74.0 ⬇)
28. Chloe Grace Moretz (74.6 ⬇)
27. Victoria Pedretti (75.0 ⬆)
26. Will Poulter (75.3 --)
25. John Boyega (76.7 --)
24. Matilda de Angelis (77.4 ⬆)
23. Adele Exarchopoulos (77.8 ⬆)
This pair of young starlets share similar resumes; both are rather sparse but jammed-pack with highly-acclaimed blockbuster films. Matilda has had only two roles but those are as a Bond girl and Cleopatra in two of LRF’s biggest films. After debuting as Talia Al Ghul in Season 22, Adele has returned to the role three times while also having key parts in Judas Iscariot and Wolfenstein.
22. Dakota Johnson (78.7 ⬇)
21. Caleb Landry Jones (79.2 --)
20. Timothee Chalamet (79.9 --)
19. Anya Taylor-Joy (80.6 --)
18. Raffey Cassidy (81.0 ⬆)
17. Daisy Edgar-Jones (81.3 ⬆)
16. Margaret Qualley (81.7 ⬆)
This trio of young actresses are all on an upward trajectory, with Qualley's most recent GRA win inching her ahead by a hair. Everyone is curious about Cassidy's next move after a powerful performance in Punisher: Last Exit followed by an appearance in Caesar Part III. But Edgar-Jones is the most talked about at the moment as the front-runner of the Best Actress race.
15. Hailee Steinfeld (83.2 ⬇)
14. Shailene Woodley (83.9 ⬇)
13. Madelaine Petsch (84.5 --)
12. Taron Egerton (84.6 --)
This duo has found continued success as Batgirl and Nightwing in the DC Universe. The only problem is that they haven't done much else, leading to the slight stagnation of their star power at the moment.
11. Sadie Sink (85.8 --)
10. Brie Larson (87.3 ⬇)
9. Mackenzie Foy (88.1 ⬇)
Along with Larson next to her and Joey King earlier in the list, Foy was a major star of LRF's first ten seasons but has not gotten much work in the last ten seasons. Hopefully her agents can find her something to bring her back into the fold.
8. Saoirse Ronan (88.6 --)
7. Jennifer Lawrence (88.9 --)
6. Florence Pugh (90.5 ⬆)
5. Lucas Hedges (91.6 ⬇)
4. Elle Fanning (91.9 ⬇)
3. Margot Robbie (93.6 ⬆)
2. Sydney Sweeney (95.8 ⬇)
Sweeney has been the young star of the last ten seasons, currently sitting on a streak of four straight roles that have been nominated for a GRA (she's won four). It has been said that she is much more selective after the major success of Poison Ivy: Mind Games and that will naturally leads more buzz for her next role. Hopefully that comes soon or she may need to keep an eye out for the rising Robbie, who has consistently been a bankable leading star since her only flop all the way back in Season 1.
1. Alden Ehrenreich (96.4 ⬇)
Ehrenreich is known as LRF's top homegrown star (and arguably their top star period at one point). But that is largely built on his work from LRF's first twenty seasons. He is currently in his longest gap between films and hasn't been seen since Season 19's Urban Cowboy. However, something tells us that this rating could be going back in the near future.
