Liam Neeson has a world class resume outside of LRF, and now he's finally starting to rack up the starring roles in LRF. For this edition of Resume, we will take a look at the filmography of the Irish film star....

In his first LRF appearance, Liam Neeson appeared in a major role in The Prisoner, a film that is still regarded as one of the best in the LRF catalog. It was a hit with audiences and critics, and Neeson found himself nominated for 3 Golden Reel Awards: Best Supporting Actor, Best Villain and Best Ensemble Cast. He ended up taking home trophies for Best Supporting Actor and Best Ensemble Cast, while the film itself managed to win 5 more - including Best Picture.
Season 5

Domestic Box Office: $77,765,093
Foreign Box Office: $72,212,347
Total Profit: $6,724,810
Neeson followed up his acclaimed role in The Prisoner with a supporting role in the music-biopic The Beatles a few seasons later as the older version of George Harrison. The film was a modest hit with the critics, although it barely turned a profit at the box office.
Season 6
Shake Hands with the Devil

Budget: $53,000,000
Domestic Box Office: $46,714,084
Foreign Box Office: $89,130,856

Neeson was quickly back in front of cameras in Season 6 as the star of the war drama, Shake Hands with the Devil. Critics loved the movie, although it only managed one GRA nomination for Best Ensemble Cast. Once again though, the film barely managed a profit.
Season 19
The Past Before

Budget: $85,000,000
Domestic Box Office: $65,045,224
Foreign Box Office: $82,973,014
Total Profit: -$41,200,993
After many seasons away, Neeson finally returned to LRF screens in the sci-fi action/thriller The Past Before where he took on a major supporting role as the President of the United States. Critics were fairly indifferent toward the film with it earning mixed to slightly positive reviews. At the box office though, it was a colossal failure, losing over $40 million.
Season 21
Winter's Displeasure
Director: Nancy Meyers
Writer: Eden Townsend
Budget: $46,000,000
Domestic Box Office: $62,273,947
Foreign Box Office: $32,130,853
Total Profit: $16,486,600
A few seasons later, Neeson was back as the star of Winter's Displeasure, a comedy-drama about a man who moves into a retirement home. The film received fairly positive reviews - although most thought that Neeson was a poor fit for his character, especially age-wise. It was a box office rebound for Neeson's career though as it became his second most profitable LRF endeavor (trailing The Prisoner of course).
Up Next: There aren't any big projects for Neeson immediately following the release of Final End, although there have been some rumors that the studio is looking to cast him in a major Marvel Universe role.
