In Development

 
Home Before Dark: Edward James Olmos (L.A. Rex, Martian Manhunter), Zach Woods ("Avenue 5", Downhill), Kate Mulgrew ("The Man Who Fell to Earth", Drawing Home), Halston Owen "A Million Little Things") and Skylar Betteridge ("The Gold") will round out the supporting cast of Home Before Dark, which is about to be released. Based on the novel by Riley Sager, the film was adapted by Rene Menzie and Harmony Winters. Issa Lopez directs the film.

Norse: Valhalla: Jamie Campbell Bower ("Stranger Things", Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald), Richard Armitage (Uncharted 3, Rachel Rising), Pilou Asbaek (Samaritan, Overlord), Anna Astrom (Midsommar, "Vikings") and Kaya Scodelario (The Terminal Spy, Tinseltown) are sent to lend their acting services to the upcoming Norse mythology based action epic. Bower will play Loki, Armitage will play Heimdall, Asbaek will play Tyr, Astrom will play Una and Scodelario will play Skuld - all figures from Norse mythology. Martin Campbell is directing the film based on a script by Jimmy Ellis.

The Passenger: Ari Aster's upcoming dramatic horror project will reportedly feature some flashback sequences in its story. Walker Scobell (We Know Where You Live, Caesar Part III) and Julia Butters (The Deadliest Night in Show Business, Ghost Stories) have been cast as younger versions of the characters played by Robert Pattinson and Elizabeth Olsen. Iain Armitage ("Young Sheldon", "Big Little Lies") will also be part of these sequences as their childhood friend. Cynthia Addai-Robinson (Uncharted 4, Gargoyles) has also joined the film as love interest of John David Washington's character. Mo Buck penned the film based on the novel by Patrick Senecal.

Zero Hour: Rob Brydon (Holmes & Watson, "The Trip"), Viveik Kalra (Voyagers, Blinded by the Light) and  Kingsley Ben-Adir ("Secret Invasion", Barbie) are set to complete the cast of the sci-fi thriller Zero Hour. Brydon will play the husband of Rosamund Pike's character, Kalra will play a hacker, while Ben-Adir will have a small but pivotal role in one of the film's key action scenes. Yann Demange directs the film from an original story by Chad Taylor and Matt Parker.

Desert Dreams: Brett Cullen (The Birds, X-Men), Steve Zahn (The Monster Squad, Rodeo), Kate Walsh (Honest Thief, 3022) and Elizabeth McGovern (Downton Abbey: A New Era, The Commuter) have joined the drama Desert Dreams, which is currently filming in Arizona. Cullen will play the head of a Hollywood movie studio, Zahn will play a famous director with Walsh cast as his wife. McGovern will play the mother of Daisy Edgar-Jones' character. David Mackenzie directs the film based on a script by John Malone and Jimmy Ellis.

Detroit: Become Human: Denis Villeneuve's sci-fi video game adaptation, Detroit: Become Human has rounded out its cast with the casting of Octavia Spencer (Genetic Descent, Kindred), Caleb McLaughlin (Sandbox, The Watsons Go to Birmingham), Leslie Grace (In the Heights), Eliza Taylor (I'll Be Watching, "The 100") and Niamh Algar (The Wonder, Wrath of Man). The film, which was written by Jack Slipter, is reportedly set to be one of the most expensive of Season 27.
