Reaction: Another successful video game adaptation from Mortal Kombat Twisted Metal scribes APJ and Chad Taylor with this one. It didn't set the box office on fire necessarily, but considering its R-rating and genre combination it is quite a success.

"Although the concept of Nazi Zombies has lost its initial appeal, this film manages to maintain the viewers' interest. Luke Evans' performance as the lead is impressive, and the supporting cast is equally strong. The only drawback of the movie is its ending, which is rather ordinary and clichéd." - Aubrey Jade-Mitchell, The Sun

"Part war film, part isolated action film, Wolfenstein gives the audience a solid time of entertainment. It isn't the most original story ever, but it feels like tomato soup and grilled cheese - enjoyable and reliable. Between the casting and the stylish acting on display in Wolfenstein, it is hard to find much to complain about other than wanting more." - Dave Manning, Ridgefield Press

"Similar to APJ & Chad Taylor’s previous adaptation of Twisted Metal, this was pure fun and action. The cast led by Luke Evans and Glen Powell seem to be having fun, and in fact I could see the two of them leading the best starring couple race early on. Having not played the game, I was pleasantly surprised at the action spectacle this was. I do hope to see more of Frank Webley in the future as I feel there isn’t enough of this action out there now." - Sam Nestera, The Daily Telegraph

Rated R for war-related violence and frightening images
