Shatterhand: Christian Berkel (Carte Blanche, Silver Sable) is returning for a second appearance in LRF' James Bond franchise, reprising his role as Auric Goldfinger. Also joining the film in villainous capacities will be Olivier Richters (The King's Man, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny) and Nora Arnezeder (Gears of War 2, Army of the Dead) as underlings of the film's main villain. Joe Wright directs the spy film from a script by John Malone.
Dating Vanessa: The Emma Stone-led romantic comedy Dating Vanessa has added Kiko Mizuhara (Ride or Die, Tornado Girl), Kofi Siriboe (Hillside, "Queen Sugar") and wrestler Joe "Roman Reigns" A'noai (The Wrong Missy, Hobbs & Shaw) to its cast. Mizuhara will play the best character of Stone's character, while Siriboe and A'noai will play contestants on a dating show vying for the heart of Stone's character. Will Gluck directs from a script by Jacob Jones.
American Gigolo: Jacob Elordi will have more company in the American Gigolo remake with the additions of Marlon Wayans (The Spectre, Air), James Van Der Beek (Natural Selection, Bad Hair), Jeanne Tripplehorn (The Hammer of Thor, "The Terminal List") and Sylvia Hoeks (Tail, Alien: Out of the Shadows). Wayans will play a pimp, Van Der Beek will play a senator, Tripplehorn will play one of Elordi's clients, and Hoeks will play a madam. Pablo Sorrentino is directing the project, based on Paul Schrader's 1980 film of the same name. Roy Horne penned the adaptation.
Justice League Invasion: Some newer DC faces are set to join the next Justice League film with Aidan Turner (Superman: Exile, Judas Iscariot) set to appear as Superman, Chloe Grace Moretz (Supergirl, Corndog) set to appear as Supergirl, Alexandra Daddario (Wonder Woman: Labyrinth, Extra Ordinary) set to appear as Wonder Woman, and Dave Franco (The Flash #2, Zombielove) set to appear as the Flash. All are Justice League debuts. Michael Bay is back to direct. The quartet of APJ, D.R. Cobb, John Malone and Chad Taylor all worked on the script.
Vindicators: Season 31 will open with a new original superhero film, Vindicators, from writer Jimmy Ellis (The Final Will, Thorne) and director Graham Moore (The Outfit). Mark Wahlberg (Cocaine Cowboys, Triple Identity) will play a private detective investigating the murder of a powerful business man, who ran a company that sponsors the city's most popular superhero, the Vindicator. Jayme Lawson (Till, The Woman King), Gillian Jacobs (The Actors, The Invincible Iron Man), Derek Theler ("68 Whiskey", Secret Summer) and Brian Cox (Whaling, The Grenade) have also joined the film. Lawson will play the Vindicator, Theler and Jacobs will play a superhero power couple - Alanna America and Pureblood, while Cox will play the CEO of Vindicator Industries, whose murder starts the whole story.
Duel: Nicolas Cage (The Spectre, AKA Billy the Kid) has signed on to star in a remake of Steven Spielberg's directorial debut, the television film Duel, based on the short story by Richard Matheson. Cage will play a traveling salesman who finds him terrorized on the highway by a trucker. Toby Kebbell (We Know Where You Live, Gargoyles) has also signed on to the film as a fellow salesman. Jon Watts (Displacement, Inner Demons) is directing the film from an adaptation by Eden Townsend (Boy's Life, One By One).
