Reaction: The box office numbers were down from Carte Blanche (the second film in the series), but still up from Risico (the first film in the series). Either way, Shatterhand is another monster hit for the studio, James Bond, and writer John Malone.

"Joe Wright is a different path to go down for Bond then say Villeneuve and Nolan, however he pulls it off with such class that I don’t know why he hasn’t done a film of this ilk before. Dan Steven’s once more proves why he was the perfect fit for Bond. Adele Exarchopolous is great as Tessa as well as Guy Pearce in his role. Although not my favourite of the Malone penned Bond films it is still a great watch and a worthy entry in the series." - Jonah Wells, Indiewire

"Shatterhand is a thrilling and visually stunning addition to the James Bond franchise. It expertly blends classic Bond elements with fresh twists, with it all highlighted by intense action sequences, particularly the breathtaking cable car fight in the Swiss Alps. Adele Exarchopoulos' Tessa and Guy Pearce's chilling portrayal of Blofeld are welcome additions to the franchise." - Frank Estelle, Boca Breeze

"While *SHATTERHAND* may not match the prestige of the first two Best Picture-winning films, it's still an exciting and energetic addition to the 007 franchise. Dan Stevens proves to be one of the most compelling Bonds in recent memory. Joe Wright, stepping in for Christopher Nolan, brings his keen eye for action to the film, even managing to maintain momentum during its slower moments. Overall, this third LRF Bond movie showcases the strength of a franchise when it’s used to its full potential." - Camry Jane-Michaels, San Jose Mercury News

Rated PG-13 for violence, language, and brief suggestive content
